How do I upload my Website?

There are a number of FREE downloads of FTP programs from the web. YaZoogle suggests you use ' Free FTP 'a User Friendly FTP program which you can download for FREE ..../click here.   ** Before you download and install this program, please read our FTP Tutorial Terms of Use

Step 1

Download Software from CoffeCup's website by clicking the download button to save program onto your computer hard drive.

  • Filename: CoffeeFreeFTPInstaller4.2.exe
  • File Size: 7.15 MB

Step 2 Click RUN

Step 3 Click RUN



Step 4 Click I accept button and then Click NEXT button

Step 5 Click NEXT


Step 6 By Default it will load in your program files which is correct click NEXT

Step 7 Choose the following and click NEXT

Step 8 Ready to Install - Choose NEXT

Step 9 Installing begins

Step 10 Click Finish to Launch The Program

Step 11 Click on Servers Tab top left

 

Step 12 A dialogue Box opens up... Choose the Green PLUS sign  and enter the codes provided by your hosting server in the box that opens up

Nickname:  Your Business Name
Server:  Your Domain Name
Username:  What was given to you type: http://www.yourdomainname.com
Password:  What was given to you  
Protocol:  FTP
Port: 21
Connections: 1
Local Folder:  Navigate to the folder where your website is saved on your computer... Click on the yellow folder icon to find this

Remote Folder: /www/www/
Proxy: None

it should look like this below

Step 13 - Your FTP PROGRAM is now set up for uploading website

Step 14 - Connect to the server and start uploading

Click on Servers Icon again at the top

Step 15 - My Servers Box Opens up

Step 17 - Click Connect Button

 

Step 18 - Upload by

1. Find the file(s) you wish to upload. You can navigate through the folders in the Local pane just as you do in Windows. When you find the file(s) you want to upload, highlight them with your mouse.

2. Click the Upload button in the Toolbar. This uploads the highlighted files in the Local pane to the current folder open in the Remote pane.

If you cannot Connect:
You may want to try deleting the server profile in Direct FTP, and then recreating it.
